Puntotek uses very few cookies. These are all of them, what they do and how long they last.
Necessary
- WordPress session — only if you log in on the website. It keeps you signed in and disappears when you log out.
- Cookie consent — stores your answer to the cookie notice so you are not asked again every time.
- ptk_v — our own gallery cookie. It holds a random number so the same visitor does not count twice when liking a work. It carries no name or email and lasts one year.
Analytics, only if you accept
Google Analytics tells us how many people visit the site and which chapters of the manual are read, so we know what to improve. Its cookies are only installed if you give permission in the notice, and you can change your mind at any time.
When you sign in with Google
If you use sign-in with Google, Google sets its own cookies on its domain during the sign-in process. That is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
The application uses no cookies: it uses browser storage
This one is particular to Puntotek and worth knowing. The application stores in your own browser, not in cookies and not on our servers: your works and motifs, the palette, your preferences and the code that links the device to your account.
Two practical consequences: if you clear your browser data you lose whatever you have not exported or uploaded to the cloud; and since each browser has its own storage, the link does not travel from one to another (which is why opening the app in a different browser asks you to connect again).
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the site’s cookie notice, and delete cookies from your browser settings.
