A 1926 Ford Model T seen at three quarters, its top folded back and the windscreen open — open enough to show the steering wheel inside and the ribbed seats. The body is red over black fenders with a bluish sheen, and the wheels keep their wooden spokes painted ochre, with rim and tyre in black. At the front, the radiator grille in grey with its cap on top, the two round headlamps with amber centres and the starting crank in red. The lettering «Ford Model T 1926» is stitched above, navy and red with a rule beneath: the sign comes with the pattern, nothing to add. It is 305 x 227 stitches in sixteen colours, 38,326 stitches in all, and not one half stitch or backstitch: whole crosses throughout, which is welcome in a piece this size. On 14-count it comes out at about 55 x 41 cm; on 18-count, 43 x 32.
