The three Kings standing side by side, with their jewelled crowns, their fur-trimmed robes and their gifts in their hands. It is 187 x 117 stitches in 13 colors, and one of the few pieces in the Collection wider than it is tall: on 14-count that comes out at roughly 34 by 21 centimetres, the size of a proper framed picture or a panel for the mantelpiece.
Notice that they stand apart, with no background joining them. That leaves the choice to you: stitch all three in a row, do them one at a time as you find the hours, or keep only the king in the green turban and make three small pieces instead of one big one. And since the pattern is free, changing the colour of a robe breaks nothing — they are yours the moment you open it.
