The lettering of an old manuscript, drawn as if with a quill: the A ends in a point over a flat foot, the B rounds its bowl and the lowercase letters finish in a thin curve. This is the uncial of medieval codices, the hand used for illuminated initials. The whole alphabet takes a single thread, black DMC 310, and every stitch is a whole cross: no halves, no backstitch, so it sews straight through. It carries the family's hundred characters — capitals, lowercase, figures, accented vowels, ñ and the Spanish opening marks — so it works for a single name or a whole sentence. Type one below and see it before opening it in Puntotek.
