Oregon inside its own outline: a snow-capped Cascade volcano, the coast with its sea stacks, a towering waterfall, forest everywhere and, in the middle, a red covered bridge over the river. In the corner, the yellow flowers of the Oregon grape, the state flower since 1899, and underneath OREGON between two firs. It is 125 x 155 stitches in 15 colors, about 23 by 28 centimetres on 14-count.
The bridge is no decoration: Oregon has more covered bridges than any other state west of the Mississippi. And this is the most detailed of this series of countries and states: nearly half its threads are greens, and it has more isolated stitches than any of the others, so it asks for patience and the chart close by. If you have already stitched the City of Prineville, in Central Oregon, this is its whole state.

Suggested fabric: white.

What this one asks of you
All 13,970 stitches are full cross stitch: no half stitches and no backstitch to follow.
It has 419 lone stitches, 3.0 % of the total, and 171 of those have no neighbour of their color at all. The more there are, the more the needle jumps.
